    Hello all,

I'm testing Incoloy 825 in sour service and high chloride downhole environment (petroleum drilling application). I would like to get some fatigue data on I825 and compare them with I625 and austenitic 304 stainless steel. Could anyone please point me to the right direction?

I did some SCC test on I825 as per ASTM G123 standard. I did not see cracks but I observed some pitting (could be acid or chloride). They were not catastrophic and most of the pitting was observed in unstressed regions of the sample (picture showing pitting attached). Does anyone know what this could be, and what could be done to prevent such pitting?

    Thanks,
    Prabesh Lohani
