Recently just received a complaint from customer - claiming that their PCB was found short circuit, problem may due to our supplied part (moulded rubber) is sulphur cure material (such issue had not been stated during product development), just to get some advice on this :
a. Any method can proof such claim valid, ie. - outgases could cause PCB short circuit? if yes, under what condition, ie - how many PPM, what temperature etc?
b. What test standard is normally used to measure VOC/ outgases?
Hope could gain some guideline form above, thanks From June
