We are looking for suggestions or answers to failures we are experiencing. We are using UMA (urathane modified acrylic) primer under a DTM acrylic on wood windows and doors. These were recomended by our supplier manager. We are spray applying. We are experiencing exterior failure of the primer to wood bond after winter, and the interior surface is un -affected. The primer turns loose of the wood but is bonded to the peeling paint. We use extreme caution in following manufactures instructions, and not every job fails. We have used other coatings with no failures. Does any one have any suggestions?
