    Hi,

    I am a student from Malaysia, first of all i like to say that my English is bad. But i hope u can understand me at least.
    Now, i have to finished my research on corrosion properties of galvanized lamp post and guardrail which is for my undergraduate project. This project is necessary for me to fulfill the requirement of my degree. So, here i like to know what's kind of test that should i carry to determine the corrosion properties of galvanized steel? How to expect it's service life's time and is it necessary for me to study the microstructure, tensile strength, hardness or other types of mechanical test.

    i am gladly to hear the answers and will appreciated it.
